The purpose of the Interpersonal Communication Interest Group is to provide a forum for those individuals, lay or professional, from the Western United States who are interested in research, theory, or instruction in the area of Interpersonal Communication.

It was wonderful to see so many of you in Seattle in February for our 2019 convention Advocating with Evidence.

We are already preparing for our 2020 conference in Denver, CO, which is themed Communication, Agitation, & Change.   Review the ICIG call for submissions.  Also, check out WSCA’s conference planner Dr. Marnel Niles Goins’ description and thoughts on the 2020 theme.

If this is your area of interest, when applying for membership in WSCA or when renewing your membership, be sure to check “Interpersonal Communication” as one of your interest groups.
